Let’s prep for Punk Rock Flea Market that’s happening in September!
We want to help you throw down on all the tricks that you want to hit at PRFM next month.
Whether you’re just hopping on board or you want to get your tricks on, we want to make that happen for you.
We’ll be hosting a women & queer skateboarding space at Kiwanis from 1030-1200pm on Sunday August 9th.
No board or padding? No worries! We provide all the gear. If you can, please bring a helmet!
Surfskating Workshop in London
Surfskating is where we started! We love the feeling of concrete waves and want to share that feeling of flying with you.
Whether you’re just hopping on board or you want to get your tricks on, we want to make that happen for you.
We’ll be hosting a women & queer surfskating space at Medway Bowl from 6-7pm on July 20th!

Beginner Surf Workshop
Never tried surfing? Join us for a beginner surf workshop on Saturday, August 29th from 630-8pm at Highland Glen Conservation!
Our workshops are entry-level for the gals and queer community that have always dreamed of surfing but never had the chance. All ages welcome, so if your daughter or niece is interested, come on out!
Because it’s so hard to get into.. we created workshops that are accessible both financially and socially by providing the equipment, instruction and offering them by donation (recommended $125 for photos & surf).
All ages welcome - you just have to know how to swim!

We will be supporting the Coastal Centre with their initiative to clean up the beach at sunset <3

Mermaid Art & Gear Swap!
Join us for an evening of mermaid art and gear swapping in Sarnia! Sponsored by Vitreous Designs and co-hosted by Therapeutic Arts with Evelyn, we are bringing you a night of joy through art, thrifting and connection.

FREE Skateboarding Demo at Captain Kid Day in Corunna!
We’re so excited to announce our activation with the Corunna Optimist Club to bring a free skateboarding demo to the kids in their local community.
Did you know? They recently build a brand new park with a half pipe, ramps, mini pump track and street obstacles!
This activation is welcome to all beginners and we have all the equipment to pad your kids up for safety.

Pop-Up Skate Workshop London
We have a last minute pop-up skateboarding workshop for women & queer skaters in London this SATURDAY at Kiwanis Skatepark <3
Join us from 1230-230pm for a session to meet new people, sunshine and new tricks!
Event is welcome to beginners and those of all skill levels.
Jumpstart Surf. Skate. Create for Kids
Did you know? Alongside the Grand Bend Art Centre, we received a grant to host local kids (age 4-25) programming in Grand Bend!
This means that we are bringing families surfing and skateboarding lessons every Wednesday and Friday evening from 5-8pm.
So, what does the grant do?
It provides accessible programming to all families from subsidy to transportation.
The jumpstart grant encourages girls, women, and queer youth to participate.
We provide all the equipment for long-term engagement in the Grand Bend community - this means we plan on hosting in the fall too!
If you are interested in joining us, we still have 6 more weeks of programming to offer you and your family. Drop-ins welcome.

4 YEARS!
We’re so excited to be a part of Tecumseh Skate Jam again! Did you know that this is where we first started with Siren Section?
At this event, there will be free youth activities, a sick skate competition AND music all day. Don’t forget that there will be food trucks, a market and more!
Come by at 11:00am for a gals & queer skate - ALL LEVELS WELCOME and we’ll be giving out tons of prizes!

With the beauty view and opportunity to gather, we are going to get together for a picnic and paddle!
This event is going to be a community potluck so bring your favourite snacks.

We received a Jumpstart Grant from the Ministry of Sport and Canadian Tire! We are so excited to finally announce our program. Woohoo!
Our mission is to make lake surfing and skateboarding accessible to gals, women, and queer skaters all throughout Southwestern Ontario - now, we are able to do it at a grander scale in Grand Bend!

Dates
Starting July 8th and 10th, we’ll have a rotation of 4 classes every Wednesday and Friday evening for kids between 4-25 to participate in skateboarding and lake surfing. ALL equipment is provided with exceptions of a helmet. We have a few but recommend you bring your own (bike helmets okay)!

Tier 1 ($205) - 8 Week Program for Your Child and Purchasing 1/2 a Spot to Support another Child in Need

Tier 3 (Pay What You Can/ Subsidized Spot) - 8 Week Program for Your Child
Please note that we require participants to join for 5 consecutive classes to be eligible for Tier 3.
Drop-In Available ($20 per session) - Note which days your child or you are dropping in.
***Our tiered funding helps us support families of all backgrounds and aims to create a supportive network to continue programming in the fall & winter.
**We also welcome any sponsorships from local businesses, families, and non-profits interested in funding long-term programming for our local kids.
Grand Bend Summer Camps
We’re bringing surf and skate to our local summer camps in Grand Bend!
In partnership with the Grand Bend Art Centre and Backroads Collective, we received a sunset foundation grant to introduce new sporting experience for kids in the area.
Lake surfing is available year-round for local residents and summer time is the best time to learn!
Sign your child or teen up with us for a 5-day camp for some memorable activities in the summer of 2026.

London SurfSkate Workshop
We know there are some surfskaters out there!
Surfskates are where we started. From lake waves to concrete waves, there is so much opportunity to build on skills that can be applied on or off land.
Whether you’re starting out or just ready to shred, we’re here for it!

Beachfest
We’re back for a second year of Beachfest hosted by the Grand Bend Optimist Club!!
What are the chances that you get to skate demo and ride on the beach in Grand Bend?
Come out for a skate on June 20th between 11am-4pm as we promote our youth programs in Lambton Shores - we’ll have a slappy rail and manny pad (both donated by Home Hardware) to showcase our local talent.
FYI there is funding support for youth (including our Sirens ages 4-25) throughout the summer. Come out to learn more about it!

Punk Rock Flea Market
10 YEARS. That’s how long PRFM has been around.
Celebrate PRFM 10 with us on May 2, 2026 by heading the concerts, market, and skate jam that we’ll be co-hosting!
All skill levels are welcome. We encourage all beginners and learners to skate at the event.

Indoor Surf Workshops
Gear up with us for another surf workshop in Sarnia!
The ice is melted, but it’s still chilly so we’ll be continuing our indoor surf program for new beginners to the sport. All ages welcome - all participants must be able to swim.
At this workshop, we’ll be practicing techniques for

to build our strength and endurance in preparation for lake surfing as it can get quite intense!
