Our goal at Siren Section is to create a safe, inclusive space for both kids and adults to enjoy their surfing or skateboarding experience - no matter the skill level or ability.

We strive to create a magical experience for each person as they develop confidence and pride in their journey with us.

Private Group Surf Lesson

Make new memories learning to surf on Lake Huron with your favourite people! Our lessons are inclusive and adaptive to new surfers of all abilities.

In this 1.25 hour surf lesson, you’ll learn

  • about water safety.

  • the process of standing up on the board.

  • and how to catch waves on Lake Huron.

Our programs are inclusive to everyone willing to try this exhilarating sport, no matter the skill level. Siren instructors strive to provide you with the encouragement and support to ensure you have a blast during your sessions!

***If you would like professional surf photos taken during your private group surf lesson, there is an add-on service below provided by Natalie.

Please note that when you book online, we will need to CONFIRM your registration by email as scheduling, weather, and # of people permits. Thank you for your understanding!

All participants must know how to swim.

For young families or those uncomfortable in thrashing waters, we highly recommend learning during the summer months of July, August, and September. Parents must be present for youth under 18 learning to surf.

If your party has 6+ people, please email us to book as your rate will change.

***Waves are unpredictable and sometimes will not be present for lessons. For ideal forecasting, email us at sirensectionmedia@gmail.com prior to booking.

At Siren and Skool o’ Skate, we understand that everyone wants to work at a different pace! So, we offer 1-1 skateboarding appointments in various locations to cater to your skillset.

Lesson plans range from learning how to…

  • Learning street tricks.

  • Dropping in.

Our photographer, Natalie, is excited to help you capture your magical surf experience on Lake Huron. With expertise shooting at sunrise and golden hour, Natalie will provide each participant with 5 stunning photos from the surf lesson.

*Note that this service is only offered in tandem with surf lesson bookings. If you do not require a surf lesson, but would like to purchase this service, please send us an email as rates differ.
