Our Mission

  • Creating Connection

    We offer monthly community events that develop rapport between each other. Fostering relationships, understanding, and building meaningful connections. These include beach clean-ups, craft nights and markets.

  • Cost Inclusive Programming

    We offer by donation beginner surf and skate workshops. We travel across Southwestern Ontario to offer equipment and workshops looking to learn surfing and skating. No hidden fees.

  • Creating Opportunity

    By taking up space in the water and skateparks we hope to encourage others to join. Seeing an opportunity is to create an opportunity. Sport is for everyone at any age.

Make a Difference

To begin surfing in Ontario it can cost a minimum of $900, the entry rate for skateboard gear can cost around $200. Our programming relies 100% on donations to provide equipment, instructors, an inclusive space for all people to have the opportunity to engage in surfing and skateboarding.

  • Thank you for asking! Your level of involvement is up to you - we have regular participants attending events, people showing up for their family/ friends, and demonstrating support through donations.

  • Any age!

    For the younger kids ages 3-9, we suggest parents participate alongside their new skateboarder. As for surfing, they will have to be able to swim before hopping on a board in the lake! Parental participation is a must in the water as the boards are too big for kids to manage, otherwise a 1-1 lesson is required.

    For adults… it’s NEVER too late to start. We encourage those who even have the slightest interest to join us for an introductory workshop with your friends to try something new and challenge yourself!

  • When it comes to donations or sponsorships, every little bit makes a difference. We accept skateboard hardware, decks (broken & used), surf boards, art supplies for socials.

    If you are interested in sponsoring a project or event, a financial donation allows us to flexibly use the funds to invest in equipment, make our programming financially accessible, and give back to our instructors. If you have something specific in mind, please let us know!

  • During the high season of April - October, we will host 8-10 events including our market demonstrations. During the winter months, we host closer to 4-6 as people are on holidays and are unable to gather.

    We try to divide our location time between all three areas; as our team grows, we will be able to host more weekly events in each spot.

  • Good question!

    Based on our current momentum, we are building up regular skateboarding and surfing programming in our 3 locations. It’s all about community and fostering connections, so we will take the time to grow the community.
